Dr. Shane Michael Patterson, MD

Dr. Shane Patterson does not sugar coat things, and do you really want that from someone who's job it is to keep you alive? I respect his honesty and ability to diagnose medical issues. He does not over-complicate things, and he does not let political correctness get in the way of dispensing the truth. I think its refreshing, even though others might get offended. He is your doctor, he's not paid to be your friend.

On 2 visits, Dr. Patterson took a lot of the office-time talking about his own life stories. Then he asked a lot of questions that wasn't relative to the visit or the diagnosis (as if he was trying to be a psychologist). He also refuted a diagnosis that two other well-estabished doctors had already confirmed because "he has a different belief system". If you have another viewpoint, be careful. Don't trust his friendliness. At the core of him, I believe he wants to be a good doctor and wants to be liked. He would be a much better doctor if he incorporated more humility and that he is not the boss. He could benefit from taking time formedical research rather than spouting out wrong/out-dated info.

The most abusive and uncaring doctor with absolutely NO compassion whatsoever. Filing a complaint with the medical board, as he should NOT be seeing patients. Twice he absolutely smacked me on my inflamed knee... what's that all about???? He was not only verbally abusive, but physically as well. He belongs in a jail cell, not working with people.

I was a patient of Dr. Patterson and wish I still could be, had to leave the area due to Butt fire. I'm 65 and have seen my share of Dr.s I can't say enough about him. He went above and be on and was there at my hardest times, I could talk to him about anything. I cried, laugh and felt like I had known him forever. He has a beautiful family that he adores. Since being in the "flat lands" I can't bring myself to find another Dr. . I know I'll never have the rapport I had with him, Thank You Dr. Patterson

Do NOT go to this doctor...misdiagnosis is what he does. Always get a second opinion if you are one saying he's great. He would get a zero if possible..

I saw Dr. Patterson upon the recommendation of a friend. I liked his demeanor right away because he felt genuinely interested in my health. While asking a lot of questions during our first visit he noticed how my legs appeared swollen before I had a chance to tell him about them. He made a change to my high blood pressure medication and by the time I came back for my physical the swelling had gone away. Its not a miracle, but I had asked my former doctor a few times why my legs were swollen and I was just given "Lasix" each time.

I am fully disabled and in all my 53 years of life he is by far the only DR i can say. I am more depressed when leaving his office then when entering. Bedside manner he doesn't have it plus the insult nature is so bad.

Do NOT trust this doctor...whatever he tells you is wrong with you...run, don't walk, for another opinion...he is not educated at a US medical school should be the first red flag..BAD...
