Dr. Shane Ridge, DO

I have to first say most of these reviews are false, untrue. Dr. Ridge is very thorough, upfront and honest with you. He is very knowledgeable and you are never rushed through a visit. He will pull up ct scans, xrays, labs for you and go through them until you understand. I totally trust him with my life. He's always kind and understanding even though he probably thinks Im neurotic with my health and med anxiety. He offers virtual visits for follow ups if you so desire. I do them for med adjustment. I would never want any other doctor. I have had him for over 10 years , and highly recommend him and this practice to anyone.

Stay away from this clown. After bad advise, I am 9M into a recovery and can finally stand and walk. Don't let this happen to you..

Dr Ridge was very good to talk to but would never call me back and office staff not at all helpful! They pulled some very fast ones on me and if I tried to get in touch with him NOTHING!!!!! Looking for new Doctor now!

Dr. Ridge started taking of my husband after a life and death surgery. We can not say enough about the care, time, patience and kindness Dr. Ridge gave to both of us. I was so impressed with the quality of care that I switched to him for my primary care. Dr. Ridge takes the time and patience to not only treat us but also to make sure we understand what is going on. He gives us the time we need. He is a great doctor and an amazing person.

Dr. Ridge was very knowledgeable, thorough and kind. Stayed in office late with his nurse to take care of my husband . Very impressed with appt. from beginning to end.

Dr Ridge is very mild mannered and knowledgeable about treatment and care of me .He takes time and answers my questions He offers medical information readily and is a kind man.I am glad he was recommended to me

AN ALL AROUND GOOD DOCTOR GOOD PERSON. HE REMEMBERS ALL THE ASPECTS OF YOUR CASE AND HISTORY ,STAFF IS INFORMED AND EFFICIENT

Dr.Ridge is a poor excuse for a physician, I have seen him once and my husband 3 times now , the latest a severe injury at work which landed him in the hospital for 4 -5 days, upon his release he needed to be seen for evaluation , he , his nurse and a student , came in each separately and continued to discuss the other issue my husband was seen for previously (3 months ago) which by the way still undiagnosed ; he then accuses him of using what he termed "street drugs" not even sure what that means . He never addressed the issue was terribly combative and uncompassionate as well as distracted ! I would not recommend him at all , we even had to get up and leave as his unprofessional manner became more than I felt my husband deserved. I will be doing more research to see why he left Stratford and I can't imagine these "good reviews" are valid. He is anything but caring , his bedside manner the worst ! I pray that no other person seeking medical attention has to endure such a poor… example of a human. If he actually has knowledge he should be In a laboratory working with inhuman subjects . P.s. I have never wrote a review on anyone or anything but feel how important this really is if it can help someone I'm pleased!!

I went for a physical and Dr. Ridge kept saying I needed to lose weight. I know this and I want to do better for my health, but he shamed me into feeling so bad. I left his office feeling so bad. I also noticed that he is not an MD so I think I'll go to a real doctor from now on.

This doctor took me off all my meds, and refuses to help me with my condition. I have now lost my job because of my condition, which was under control for 5 yrs with meds, until dr ridge took me off of them. he is not a person with compassion, and doesn't listen to problems. he recommended that I take 8-12 Benadryl a night to get to sleep, instead of prescribing me a sleeping med. does that sound right?
