He lacked compassion, gave terrible advice and is only worried about being sued.

The office of Psych Care Consultants is horrible. I called in to the office several times in one day, when I finally got ahold of the receptionist I told her I needed to talk to my doctor and that it was important, her response was "He won't be back in this office location until Tuesday." Then she hung up on me! I of course called back livid and she said oh well I can try to find the number to the other office to give you. Also whenever you go in the staff always treats you like dirt and talks to you like you're inconveniencing them! I will go into visit Dr. Rao and he will write me my refills for my prescriptions and says I want to see you in a month. For the past two months Dr. Rao has only gives me two weeks prescription for some of my medications, when I call in to get a refill he says he needs to see me again before he will refill it. I say why do I need to see him again I have an appointment in two weeks because he said he wants to see me in a month not two weeks. The only… response I get is you need to come in or he will not refill it. I have had to call off work to go see him. In order for me to even get this response I have to call 5-7 times a day for at least 3 days. There have even been times that they will only talk to my Husband and wont direct anything to me, I mean its not like I'm the patient, oh wait yes I am. I will never go back to him again, his staff is rude and unprofessional and he will tell you one thing at the appointment and then another later. He is impossible to get ahold of. I would not recommend him or his office even to my worst enemy. He is denying me, a depressed patient with a history of suicidal tendencies, the medication I need to not have suicidal thoughts or do self harming actions.
