Dr. Shannon K Alsop, DO

Dr. Alsop is a true professional.

I want to start off by saying my mother bad experience was not personally with Dr Alsop. It was more of the staff that was the problem, several times her prescriptions were not sent on time which was not a good thing. In order to get a message to Dr Alsop you had to speak with her receptionist Maryann who was extremely unprofessional and nasty on the phone. She has no patience when speaking to you. My mother had a few problems with her which the last one led her to loosing her cool with the woman, she was hung up on twice and talked to disrespectful. If your not able to handle senior citizens ways then you do not need to be answering the phone for a home care doctor. My mother prescription had finally arrived in the mail with the date being written over top of switch of course made it very hard for her to fill the medicine. A few days later she received a call from Dr Alsop stating she no longer can care for her due to the incident she had with the receptionists. I hope action was… taken on there end as well with there unprofessional staff for future clients.
