Dr. Shannon Elynn Brim, MD

I loved my previous OBGYN who delivered both of my babies so much that I was almost willing to plan annual trips back to the Nashville, TN area for that particular doctor and practice. Today was my first visit at Virginia Physicians for Women and it was a great experience from start to finish. The office is nice and the new patient paperwork (like everything else) was quick and easy. There was no wait and everything was efficient. The nurse, Sherri (sp?) was very friendly. Dr. Brim was very personable as well and we chatted most of the time. I’m glad I selected Dr. Brim and this practice.

I love Dr. Brim, she is great. But the nurse that does your blood pressure and weight always seems to rush when there is no need. And she is rude, uses no discretion when asking about medications and diagnoses. We were behind a curtain and she was speaking very loudly about a medication that I take, it was embarrassing. But other than that, everything about this office is great.

Dr. Brim is amazing. I never knew what doctor appointments should be like until I had an appointment with her. She was awesome.
