Dr. Shannon Ann Carty, MD

Dr. Carty is kind and understanding. She listens and tries to answer all of your questions. We never felt rushed or that we were being hurried along. Appointments were usually on time and everything was scheduled appropriately.

The path to healing is in understanding the lack of comfort and balance in the patient. It is not her knowledge and skill that Dr. Carty is eager to convey to her patient, but rather it is what the person in front of her wants to know about the disease that is Shannon Carty's primary focus. It is a journey we are taking together into the difficult and little understood land of "The Emperor of All Maladies" that we focus on together every visit. I have never felt rushed or ignored in Dr. Carty's office. Rather we are on a quest to understand and co-exist with my diagnosis. There is no arrogance here. No battles to be waged or wars to be won. Our quest is to find the way out of Dis_Ease into a place of comfort and health.
