This review does not reflect the physician’s medical skill or clinical professionalism. My interactions with the clinical care itself were routine and unremarkable, and I did not have concerns regarding medical competence in a clinical sense. My concern relates to how sensitive personal information shared in confidence during care was later handled within the medical record system. I disclosed sensitive health information in confidence during prenatal care, including information related to intimate partner violence, and later learned that this information appeared in my child’s medical chart in a way that could potentially be accessible through proxy access. I fear retaliation, and this creates a safety risk for me. I was directed through a grievance process to request record amendment, but the response I received simply stated that the information was “accurate” and my amendment request was denied. My safety and privacy concerns were dismissed.

I truly appreciate Dr. Dorton. She is incredibly kind and has such a genuine heart for her patients. I have never felt this level of warmth from a doctor before—she always greets me with a hug, which instantly makes me feel comfortable and cared for. She takes the time to really listen to me and always responds with honesty and compassion during my visits. Seeing her never feels rushed, and I always leave feeling heard, supported, and valued

This website needs to do a better job at weeding out the trolls. I regularly see negative reviews geared at women of color that are clearly racially motivated and not from actual patients.

The worst doctor I have seen at Kaiser so far. This sloo footed crooked junk yard dog in a wig is an unaccountable POS.

This doctor should not be practicing. She has angry issues ,doesn't know how to treat patients or maybe she just doesnt care
