Dr Egleston recieved and excellent education at one of the finest dental schools in the country.  She then expanded her educational background by completing a residency training program at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.  This residency program provided training in the areas of oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, operative dentistry, and pedodontics.
"My decision to become a dentist was greatly influenced by my childhood dentist. He was very gentle with his patients, always kind and considerate of their needs and desires.  I aspire to follow this philosophy.  When I treat patients, I follow the golden rule by treating patients the way I would like to be treated."
In her spare time Shannon enjoys playing golf, scuba diving, and spending time with her children.
