Dr. Shannon Scott Greer, DO

WOW! Dr. Greer is extremely thorough! He listens to you, he takes your concerns into consideration, he is super detailed! His staff is courteous, they are professional and actually return your calls before the end of the day! You don't get lost in an automated phone system. Dr. Greer has a great staff and he is an amazing physician! He's worth the membership fee!

I've been a patient of Dr. Greer's for many years. He recently changed his practice to MDVIP. Best decision I made was to stay with him and his new practice. Appointment times are now on time, he still takes his time with you, is extremely detailed and does not rush the appointment. I can now get in to see him the same day or next day. His staff are no longer rushed and actually can take their time with you, they answer the phone in a pleasant manner and seem very happy working there. In the past, the wait times were long, but he was worth the wait, with his new practice however, he is now on time.

This office is very concerned with you understanding their schedule but does not care at all about yours.

I went in for a new patient and full check-up. Supposedly my insurance was to cover the visit but the office coded so one was a new patient and another as the check-up. So $196 out of my pocket. The second visit I waited 1 1/2 hours and saw Dr. Greer for 5 minutes (for $196??). I am not a fan of him or the office staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Dr, Greer is an excellent doctor, caring and concerned for his patients.

The office staff said that they would e-mail my blood work so I can get blood drawn and that was days ago. Still haven't received the order for the blood work. Bad Bad office staff!!!!

I have found Dr. Greer to be very caring and always willing to take the time to answer your question. Appointment wait time can be lengthy but with health care costs I have not found any office to be timely.

I waited nearly 45 min past my appointment time for Dr Greer to finally enter my exam room. He raced in through the door, no greeting or apology, then proceeded to rush through my questions and concerns. Staff interrupted my exam twice to ask him to take phone calls where he exited and returned to only forget what we were talking about. I was redressing while he wrote my prescriptions and I could hear him belittling his staff in the hallway. He then said he had to get to his daughters program and could not wait for me to exit the room. His staff gave me my prescriptions that he forgot to sign in his rush to get out of the office. My insurance was then charged for an extremely complex visit. He examined a few moles! No biopsy was even required. If you want quality care and understanding this is NOT the practice for you.

The office manager Sharon is very disrespectful talks at people and is brutal. Several of Dr Greers staff have left because of this office manager. Why would a doctor keep someone like that in his office.

DR SHANNON SCOTT GREER IS THE BEST. This is the most caring doctor I've had in a long time. I tried several in this community before I found him. He took the time to get to know me and his staff are friendly and helpful. Several of them know my voice before I can say my name. The medical field has gone through a lot of changes in the last few years and he has to follow the guidelines of the insurance companies and Medicare. With that in mind Dr Greer always has my best interest in mind. He listens to me and asks a lot of questions to make sure I have communicated my concerns. I am very active in my medical care, I ask him lots questions and he answers me. I would not have it any other way. I totally trust him, even when he honors his Scottish heritage and wears his kilt on Fridays. Oh, did I mention he has a sense of humor. I always leave that office with a smile.
