Dr. McCanna and his team are THE BEST! He spent time to explain my imaging to me and gave me a detailed plan. Any questions and concerns I had along the way were answered by Emily, she was so patient with me and talked me through my anxieties. Thank you Dr. McCanna for helping me get my functional life back!

I suffered terrible back pain for two and a half years. After attempts of pain management, therapy, medications, and other doctors who said nothing could be done, I met Dr McCanna. He answered my questions, and put together a team of doctors who have helped me begin to get my life back. The team did a Lumbar Fusion on my back and the results have been amazing. The outcome has been better than any of us hoped for. The recovery will take time but the pain is gone. The Indiana Spine Hospital staff and Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine staff have all been a blessing for me and my family.

I am NOT a good patient. Dr. McCanna, however, is an excellent surgeon with a good support staff. Since my surgery a year or so ago, I have experienced so much improvement. For anyone requiring spinal surgery, I give Dr. McCanna and Goodman-Campbell the highest recommendation.

I'm going to have to have spine fusion on L4 and L5.... what I really liked about him was we are taking what he calls climbing a ladder step by step... because I have a complex spine ...Dr. McCanna has ordered a bone density test to ensure that my bones can hold up the hardware ....i'm going to a vascular doctor because I had a graph bypass on my left leg make sure it's OK to get off of the blood thinner plavix....he is just making sure my over all health I can get through this surgery without any kind of Unforeseen complicationsfor me ... he really cares and we have to go through proper channels .he had great explanation of what was going on to where I could understand it completely so far I really like him

Dr Mccanna was an amazing physician. Immediately he made me comfortable and never hesitated to gently but confidently inform me that my situation required a surgical spinal fix as my symptoms were rapidly progressing. Approximately 2 weeks later he performed the delicate surgery. 4 days in ICU under his care I went home to recover. Because of his ability. The spinal compression was corrected and over time I have regained much of the lost functions. He has a wonderful personality. He treated me like a friend and was kind to my family and informative. Hats off to this fantastic physician. He was certainly chosen for the right profession!
