Dr. McCurdy helped and my family through a very difficult disease. Going through a bone marrow transplant is so physically and mentally draining. Dr. McCurdy always talked me through my options with great care and compassion. She clearly is at forefront of her field and knows about the best treatment options. I'm now in remission and I owe that to her and the team at UPenn.

It was clear early on Dr McCurdy had a superior understanding of my cancer than my previous oncologist. It was also clear she truly cared what happened to me and she was vested in my outcome. I’m now in remission. Thank you Dr McCurdy!!!

She was my dad's oncologist and he was seen under her care for chemotherapy. We ended up moving him to Johns Hopkins for SCT (as they have a higher success rate). However, the chemo she used on him (Vyxeos) was too strong. The oncologist at Hopkins told us they believe the Vyxeos is what damaged his liver, causing him to die from complications related to the transplant. The doctor at Hopkins has never used Vyxeos before because he says it can melt a patient's organs. Which is exactly what happened to my dad. And now we have to live EVERY DAY without him. This was the chemo chosen by Dr. Mccurdy.

didn't follow through with patient. handed patient care off to other doctors without informing patient, patient died from unrelated illnesses because patient wasn't monitored and treated properly. Incompetence or neglect is only rational explanation for patient dying.
