One of the worse physical exams I've ever had

I have not been to the doctor in a couple of years and my previous doctor is no longer with Christus so I looked on their website and found Dr. Schwab. Her office is close by so I scheduled an appointment. Big mistake. I waisted time and money visiting with her. I tried to talk to her about my issues and she looked dazed and confused. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and ready to leave a place in my life. She didn’t ask me questions or even try to get to know me. It’s like she was perplexed. I really don’t even know how to describe how it went. It was basically... awkward. I left there so upset because I’ve been dealing with anxiety and was really hoping to get some help. I will never go to her again. Please read the reviews before you go. I wish I had.

Doctor Schwab puts her personal policial bias above the care of her patients care.

Came in for a checkup, trying to establish a primary care doctor as I was reaching the age of 30 at the time. On the intake form, I had written down a couple of issues I wanted to discuss (not necessarily in this appointment, but ongoing issues) and that I was searching for my primary care doctor. I heard her tell the nurse before she walked in complaining that I wanted her to address all of these problems, and sarcastically saying which she should address. Her tone was very annoyed and it was obvious when she came in the room. Then when I told her about a normal anxiety issue I was having, she acted like I was a crazy. Her bedside manner is just terrible. Needless to say, I never used her services again.

Based on previous experience with other doctors in the past, as well as having worked around many doctors over the course of my career, I do not find that she listens well to what you tell her. She pretty much makes up her mind what is wrong and then does not budge regardless of how or what you tell her to the contrary. I selected her as she was covered under my insurance plan, however, plan to find another PCP. I just do not like her at all! Unprofessional and disrespectful in my personal opinion.

Volunteered that she would not give me disability? Was that based on my looks because I work hard for a living despite being handicapped and was not seeking disability.
