Dr. Shannon Zimmerman

Shannon Zimmerman is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) gaining new experiences in the mental health field. Shannon is passionate about helping children, adolescents, couples, and families address their unique challenges and live more fulfilled and healthy lives. She specializes in depression, anxiety, parenting issues, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Shannon completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Bridgewater State University. She also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Justice Studies. These two degrees allow Shannon to have a deep understanding of how the criminal justice system and the mental health field sometimes interact with one another. She also has 6 years of experience in the field of child welfare. This lends her a vast understanding of family systems and the importance of relationships among family members.
