She is very caring and personable. She really seems to care about you as a person and individual. Very aware of your concerns.

Makes you feel comfortable and safe. She has taken opportunities to "double check" things and not just brush them off, which is exactly how a doctor should be. Love her!

This doctor insists on doing things her way despite what the patient is saying. I told her that I typically have long drawn out labor since it takes forever for me to dilate. She insisted on on cervadil and just like I said that didn't work. Finally I was induced and my baby was born. Thank god she didn't deliver him. Dr. Lee did and he was great and to the point and laser sharp. She was horrible. Don't go to her. Horrible.

After years with the wrong Dr. I got a referral for Dr. Shanta. As soon as I met her I knew this was the perfect Dr. for me. She is professional and has helped me so much. I had surgery with her and she was nothing put awesome. I highly recommend her for woman's needs.

Dr. Shanta is a good doctor, but I feel that she is "old-school" in her practice of medicine. She performed a ovarian cyst removal surgery on me and I should have looked into other options. I now have to have another surgery because my uterus is no longer in my pelvic region. It has moved up into my body and is impacting my other organs. I do not blame her for the shifting of my uterus, but she did the basics during my surgery and now I have to endure more pain and suffering. I have an innovative M.D. now and I am confident she will take care of this once and for all. Also, there was a young lady that worked at the front desk that was UNBELIEVABLY rude! She is one of the reasons I stopped going to this office. I don't want to put her name on here, but I hope she gets out of the medical field. She was ghetto, insincere, and petty!
