Dr. SHANTI INDIRA MOHLING

When I was referred to Dr. Mohling, I was struggling with pain that was always there, progressively getting worse until I couldn’t work, I couldn’t exercise or have intimacy. Dr. Mohling could see how long I’d been suffering and was determined to figure out the source of my pain, and to then address it immediately. She explained what my surgery would be like in detail, answering all my questions and ensuring I understood what was happening. The level of transparency, the amount of compassion and caring she showed me was incredible. Now a little over a month after my surgery I feel so different it’s hard to reconcile how poorly I felt before. I felt like she put my needs first - fitting me into her very busy surgery schedule because she knew how much pain I was in. My husband was blown away by how communicative she was before and after my surgery, especially when she could see how anxious he was about what would be a long & fairly complicated procedure. If you have been told there… is nothing they can do for your endo pain, go see Dr. Mohling. You will wish you had found her sooner.

I am so thankful for Dr. Mohling! She has been a Godsent for me! My first appointment with her was Dec. 2017. I had been in soooo much pain that I couldn’t do anything or go anywhere. I was referred to her by my physical therapist who said, Dr. Mohling was specifically trained and highly skilled in administering nerve block injections and she knew she could help me. During my initial appointment with Dr. Mohling, I was suffering with terrible pain. Pain, like I never knew existed. Dr. Mohling was so kind and understanding. She knew nerve block injections would enable me to celebrate Christmas with family so, she worked me into her tight O.R. schedule the following week. It must’ve been around 7:30pm when I entered the O.R for my first round of injections. Afterwards, I told her I felt bad that she was so late getting home that night but, she assured me that it was fine. She said, she wanted me to enjoy the holidays with my family and because of her, I did! Dr. Mohling truly enjoys… helping the women she treats. My nerve problem is rare and complicated, scoliosis plays a big part so, my treatment will be ongoing for a while. I can’t imagine what my life would’ve been like this year without Dr. Mohling. She’s compassionate, understanding and unlike any doctor I’ve ever had. I saw her yesterday for a follow up visit and today.....I attended a four hour company picnic with my husband. We had a great time and I have my life back. Dr. Mohling has been the answer to my prayers. She’s amazing!!!
