Shanti R Mitchell, MD

We have been very happy with the care we have received from Dr. Mitchell. She is very thorough. When we have needed immediate attention she has been willing to fit us in. My daughters love her style. She does a great job at making it about the child and takes the time to build a relationship with them. She does not believe in over medicating children, is always initiating reviews of medications and adjusting them as needed either up or down. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mitchell is focused on welfare of her patients. Question asked in morning is answered by afternoon. Highly recommended. Only reason we are not going is because of distance in drive and my daughter does not drive.

In contrast to other practioners

This practitioner thinks she is God. If you don't follow her recommendations regarding your child she will send the police and child protective services to your house. There is no option except to follow God. Watch out if you as a parent disagree!!!

Dr. Shanti is on a power trip and does not have children's best interest in mind. She is not sympathetic to real illnesses they are suffering from and does not want to take the time to deal with their issues. My husband and I were appalled by the treatment our child and us received while in her care. I would not recommend anyone take their child to see this practitioner. She is not willing to listen to family's concerns.
