Dr. Shanu K Kondamuri, MD

From my very first visit with Dr Kondamuri I felt at ease. He listened to my current situation, my symptoms, reviewed my tests results that had been done, and recommended the best treatment options. I have spent my whole adult life with chronic pain in my neck. I never felt rushed and he gave me the opportunity to ask questions to make sure I had a good understanding of what the next steps would be. I feel confident that I had found the right specialist. Dr Kondamuri is an amazing physician, he has helped me eliminate my pain in my neck. I am back to my daily activities and able to turn my neck completely without being in pain. The nurse practitioners are awesome, as well the staff are equally amazing.

When I go in for care, I couldn't ask. for better treatment. They understand that I'm not feeling well, so they do their best to help me. Dr Kondamuri is very well educated and very competent. I know he's not a magician so I can't expect him to perform magic. I learned years ago that I usually get treated the way I treat people. Maybe he should put a mirror in his waiting room so some of you complainers could take a look at yourself when you walk in!

Been going here for 3 years now, love the staff! I believe the Dr loses touch with the patients because you mostly see a PA or assistant but Dr Kondamuri was still very professional and I trusted him for procedures.

I've seen Dr. Kondamuri for various issues, with neck,sciatica, herniated disk. He has helped me deal with these issues without surgery and long term medication. He has the best knowledge to help the patient. Spends quality time with the patient and best of all he has compassion. Can't say that about a lot of doctors.

I really had a great experience! in a major time of need I was in so much pain and had been sent from doctor after doctor and was just feeling depressed and like I was just being pushed through the system but Dr Kondamuri and his wonderful staff made me feel like a human being again they were very nice and knowledgeable very efficient !

Staff in Munster Office is horrible. They are too busy chatting amongst themselves to properly process their patients. It took 4 trips to the Receptionist window to be checked-in. Check out is just as horrible. Rude scheduler who forgets to give paperwork. I can not wait until the last two of my procedures are complete so that I can never return to that office. Upon completion, I will fully disclose how horrible this staff treats their patients without fear of retaliation. In the meantime, Dr. Kondamuri might want to slow down and check out what is going on in his office.

I have had neck pain that goes all the way down my arm for about nine months. It has disrupted my normal life and stopped me from being able to do the things that I would normally do. I have gone through physical therapy, chiropractic treatments and injections to avoid surgery. Each treatment has made the pain a little less, but it was still bad. Yesterday Dr. Kondamuri gave me another injection and today is the first day in months that I feel somewhat normal. I'm so happy that both Dr. Kondamuri and Dr. Dasari had the skills and the compassion to help me!

I tried to schedule an appointment with the staff and she was condescending and rude. Never returned my call when she said she would. Cancelled the appointment. Not recommend.

If you like being called a drug addict and that the pain is just in your head (even after having back surgery), this is the doctor for you. He was rude, and in talking to other doctors who deal with back problems and pain management, their other patients who have visited this doctor have had similar experiences.

I saw him as part of a Workman's Compensation Case. He was in the room less than 2 minutes and basically accused me of lying about my injury. I was in a very bad place when I saw him, very depressed and angry and looking back on it, he never addressed any of those issues either.
