Shaohua Xu, MD, PhD

Dr. Xu is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) with expertise in non-operative musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, spasticity management, and electrodiagnostic medicine. His clinical practice focuses on ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal and pain interventions, including joint and soft tissue injections, peripheral nerve blocks, peripheral nerve stimulation, and comprehensive spasticity treatment. He is also experienced in electrodiagnostic testing, including nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG).Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Xu is actively engaged in national professional organizations, including the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), where he serves on committees and contributes to physician education through teaching and hands-on ultrasound workshops.
