Sharan Mullen, DO

Dr. Mullen was phenomenal in her care, explanations of concern, and very patient. This was my first time being seen by her. I travelled one hour.

I will ALWAYS talk extremely highly about Dr. Mullen. I have been so blessed to be connected with her from my very first appointment. She is patient , kind, respectful, and just makes you feel like you have a safe place to open up about concerns with your body. My husband tells me "I've never met a Doctor who truly cares about their patients like Dr.Mullen". She is amazing!!!

Excellent. I spent time researching (out of frustration) as care for older women is often so different than the experience for younger women. I found this physician myself and she was just as I had hoped. I am so relieved and pleased to have found her.

I love Dr Mullen. I would recommend her to every female I know. She is patient. Cares. Listens. Evaluates effectively. Doesn't make rash decisions. Shares options. She is just great. I love her. Very down to earth. Would do coffee with her. Sweet lady. Great doctor.

I was blown away by the bedside manner of Dr. Mullen. She addressed my concerns, understand my other non-related GYN conditions and made me feel comfortable with the plan moving forward. I cannot adequately express how much I love Dr. Mullen, her knowledge and genuine concern for me.

Provider was not knowledgeable re: menopause symptoms. She had already made assumptions about me before walking in the room. She refused to look at all of my symptoms as a whole and just refused to believe that I am having pre-menopause symptoms because hot flashes are not my main symptoms. She was heavy pushing not only the use of medication, but the use of psychiatric medication. She pushed cymbalta so hard that I was wondering if she was getting a kick back for every prescription she wrote. When I told her I didn't want to be on medicine, she replied In a slightly nasty tone "Then why are you here?". When I said I wanted to talk and get guidance on how to deal with the menopause journey, she shut down. I have never had a doctor treat me that way and to push medication that hard. It was a shocking and very upsetting experience.
