Dr. Shareh Osman Ghani, MD

Compassionate, brilliant at diagnosing the most difficult of disorders, believes in RECOVERY, client centered, makes time to see clients even if they don't have appts, but are in crisis, is always aware of global innovations and groundbreaking studies that trickle down to his clients and that translates into a quality of care u can't get elsewhere. He is a mentor, pioneer, and above all an ethical and fair M.D.

This doctor thinks that just because another doc has given the right diagnosis, he should stick with the other docs meds. I was correctly diagnosed elsewhere, but put on meds that were ultimately harmful. I got suicidal ideation and psychosis from the meds. Ghani should have seen it coming, but did not. I wound up thinking I was, in turn, a CIA agent who had been extraordinarily rendered to the Philipines for torture, Lyndon Johnson (with insider knowledge on JFK's assasination), and Queen Elizabeth. Thank God another Doc stuck with me through four med changes until ultimately I was put on the right meds. Don't see this doctor unless you want to end up risking a severe psychosis and/or suicidal ideation!

He had a picture of the actor Omar Sharif in his office because somebody told him that he looks like Sharif. Give me a break. He was not educated about a co-occuring condition and he encroached on care given by another provider in an area of expertise that Dr. Ghani lacks. Scary!

This doctor is known to be very forgetful. He forgets to get medical reports to other physicians, yet, at the same time, runs medical tests that are not in his area of specialty. Specifically, I know of cases where he has run tests that relate to endocrinology and cardiology despite that his patients were receiving treatment by other doctors. He oversleeps for appointments, and is very arrogant. He does not know that the first tenet of the Hippocratic Oath is first do no harm. Avoid this doctor.
