Dr. Sharfi Sarker, MD

I was suffering extreme abdominal pain for over a year. After a couple of tests, including a CT Scan, my primary sent me to see Dr. Sarker after a hernia showed up in the tests. I met with Dr. Sarker approx. 5-6 months ago. This visit was honestly the worst I have ever had with any physician in my life. I was in her office for literally under 5 minutes (this included her 20 sec. review of my ct scan. Her exact words were "your hernia cannot possible be causing you this kind of pain". I asked if their were any other tests to determine the cause and she said quote "we may never know the cause of your pain". She dismissed me with that and said to go back to my primary. Well, after those 5-6 more months of pain and ER visit, I went to see another surgeon who said absolutely that was the cause of my pain. By the way, he read the same exact CT Scan!! I just had surgery a week ago by this other surgeon and I feel excellent!!! What a diffference! I am extremely angry that I had to… be in such pain for many more months because of her dismissal. Perhaps that was a blessing in disguise, because I would have absolutely NO cofindence in a doctor like that!!! If there were 0 stars, that is what I would give because of my experience.
