Dr. Shari Marie Jackson, MD

Shari M. Jackson, MD, a Washington native, received her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2000. She completed her internship in general surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. In 2005, she completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Duke University Health System, where she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in neuroradiology in 2006, also at Duke University Health System, where she trained extensively in imaging-guided procedures. During her training, Dr. Jackson was first author for two peer-reviewed publications. She is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Jackson performs a wide variety of pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve root blocks and facet injections using CT guidance. , Dr. Jackson specializes in treatment of varicose veins and spider veins, utilizing endovenous laser treatment (EVLT), sclerotherapy and phlebectomy.
