Dr. Rodgers is very through, professional & caring

You are in great hands with Dr. Rodgers. Dr. Rodgers has the greatest combination of professionalism and care of any doctor that I have visited. Her, and her office are easy to communicate with and ensure that you as a patient are comfortable with the care you are receiving. She is a great doctor!

I love a Dr. who takes their time with patients so I don’t mind waiting 45 min past my appt. to see her. What I don’t like with this office is the failure of communication through the patient portal. I had a test done and the results came back 2 days later and I was never called about the results or told a prescription was being sent to the pharmacy. I find out on the patient portal that my results with a note saying medication called in. No one to explain to me what I have and how to possibly prevent it. No personal touch at all after you’re out of the office. When I first moved here (1year ago) I told the Dr. I had a blood disorder. So we did labs and I waited to get a call about my results. Nothing. So I log into my portal and see the results. I message my Dr. to please write a referral for the Hematologist due to my results. The Dr. responded to take Iron. I explain with my history (that she knew about and we talked about) a referral is needed. I don’t hear… anything for a couple days. So I schedule an appt. I go in and explain to the Dr. why I needed the referral. She instantly knew who I was and why it was needed and apologized for having me come in just for this. I changed my daughters PCP from this Dr. for this reason. Her last OV the Dr. said just come in for the injection when you have your cycle. So my daughter shows up only to be told she has to have a nurse visit. I write the office on the patient portal. The Nurse says Yes please schedule an appt. there’s no option to schedule a nurse visit so I write her telling her that. No response for a few days. And this injection has to be toned just right. So I switch PCP’s. At the end of an appt the Dr. usually says see you in X many months for a Follow Up. Not this office. So when I request a refill on medications for my children or myself I’m told we have to see the Dr. This is very frustrating. I feel like the Dr. and staff have to much going on (possibly) understaffed so everything is forced to be handled through the portal and once you’re out of the office it’s not their problem anymore. I’m currently looking for a New PCP.

i love my doctor. Dr. Rodgers, she takes time with me and she gives me a complete examination. she explains my medical condition and she gives clear instructions on my medications, she evens instructs me on what to do and don't do. i love my doctor so much i have referred her to my friends. i would refer Dr. Rodgers to the whole world. she is great.

WIth several health issues, it is difficult to find a kind, understanding primary care doctor. Dr. Rodgers is prompt and helps me find the right specialist when I need one. She is experienced with military families as a prior military brat, so she knows how to deal with TRICARE.
