Dr. Sharmeen Nelson, MD

I had a concerning experience with Dr. Nelson and her clinic. My intake was incomplete, yet the appointment proceeded anyway. There were also basic errors with vital signs. My blood pressure was taken incorrectly and not rechecked, but still treated as valid data, which undermines confidence in the assessment. Before the visit, I provided a neuropsychological evaluation documenting Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory integration issues, and specific accommodation needs. This information was directly relevant to how I can participate in care, but it was not meaningfully reviewed or incorporated. Instead, the clinic used a standard intake approach that conflicted with those needs, resulting in an unproductive encounter. When I followed up and formally requested ADA accommodations, I was told my records would be reviewed “if there was time” and was ultimately dismissed as a patient rather than any effort being made to address the issue. I would not recommend this clinic, especially for… patients requiring thoughtful, accessible care.

If you are veteran or plus size woman she will treat you like you are a POS. I will tell everyone I met to stay away from her. Told my husband who is 100% disabled but the VA that he is faking all his problems. Told me why I have depression is because I am fat not because maybe I am the caregiver for my husband and I am stressed out.
