Our daughter fought a Stage 4+ signet ring (liquid) cancer for a full 11 months (albeit, unsuccessfully in the end). Dr. Roy-Chowdhury, MD played a large role in her prolonged survival. It started when she was the only surgeon noble enough to conduct an exploratory cancer surgery during the Thanksgiving holiday. She’s Castle Connelly MD peer-nominated MD for well-earned reasons. Good bedside manner. Came to Dallas from Indianapolis / Indiana University. She is recognized by UT- Southwestern in Dallas, as well as UT-Anderson as a formidable cancer surgeon.

If you or your loved one ever needs surgery for cancer Dr. Roy-Chowdhury is your very best choice for a surgeon! She is an excellent, caring doctor and most skilled surgeon you will ever meet! She is one of the few surgeons in the country that specialize in very complex and difficult to treat peritoneal cancers. We were just so lucky to have found her when we needed her most! Last year my previously all healthy husband was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. We were all terrified! She did an extremely complex surgery on my husband and he is now healthy and cured of cancer, all due to her excellent care! THANK GOD FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL SURGEON! THANK YOU DR. ROY!

My husband was diagnosed with a rare cancer. Dr. Roy Chowdhury was very thorough and explained everything in terms we could understand. We never felt rushed. She is very caring, an outstanding surgeon and took excellent care of my husband.

Dr Roy Chowdhury was my husbands surgeon and this lady is absolutely wonderful she explains things so you can understand. Y husband has a very rare cancer Pseudomyoxoma peritonei and we were told SHE was the only one in Indiana that could help! Although this cancer is terminal she gave him a second chance and Donald and I are grateful. We miss her in Indiana
