Dr. Sharon Sodano Barnes, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Barnes for 7 Years.. She has always been thorough and explains everything !! Today was my last visit as she is leaving the practice and i am so upset . She has been clear on what i need to do ( on occasions I have been lazy that"s not Dr Barnes's Fault at all.) I have the deepest respect and admiration for this Doctor . My loss is someone else"s gain. I really don"t accept some of these reviews on her interactions with people I have never experienced this at all. ( no insult intended ) She gets things done ASAP . Results on any tests are done the same day with her comments and what needs to be done. Dr Barnes Rocks !!! Kindest Regards admiration Thank you for taking care of me Maria ( the UK woman ) lol

I have never in my life experienced with a doctor what I did in her office. It was almost like stepping into an alternate universe. She even accused me of questioning her when I asked simple questions about dosing and time to take medication. She was borderlining abusive. Complained of her workload and that she is saving lives and doesn't need to be questioned. I was stunned. Very rude. I felt sorry for staff who looked as deer in headlights as I did through whole exchange. I would'nt walk but run in opposite direction, unless you like to be belittled and mistreated.

Dr. Barnes is absolutely wonderful. She saw me today for a persistent headache. Her staff was able to fit me in with a very busy schedule and she still gave me 100% of her time, made sure I understood everything discussed and definitely put me at ease. She was (and always is) very thorough with her history, exam and ensured I understood what’s next. She is also up to date on the latest literature! She throws in relevant bits of information reflecting this throughout the visit. She cares. She is present. She is a treasure. I know I’m in good hands when I see her and could not recommend her more!!!

Disappointed that I had bone marrow cancer on my chart for almos five years. I just got on my chart. And saw it. I called talk to the nurse she was very rude to me said I must have it it’s on my chart. To find a oncologist had put it in the wrong chart. The investigates said the doctor should have noticed it. Anything that was was wrong with me she would always blame it on smoking. She would get on to me like I was a kid that I didn’t want to see her.

I have been going to Dr. Barnes for many years. She is Exceptionally bright and deeply cares about her patients. She always explains in terms a layman can grasp and answers all questions. Highly recommend

I have seen this woman for several years and I am left almost speechless regarding her behavior and conduct at the majority of my visits to her. One visit she seems to attempt some level of curteousy and the next is like seeing an evil clone. Most visits are the latter. Undeniably rude, discriminatory, judgmental, and extends unbelievable inappropriate behavior...at least that is how she has repeatedly been towards me. I honestly would never recommend her to anyone for any reason. See someone else seriously.

Called and made an appointment with her office for a follow up visit that the urgent care wanted me to make . Was called later on that night from Dr. Barnes freaking out saying her staff made a mistake in scheduling and how her staff should have known better then to make the mistake. I actually didn't realize it was dr. Barnes until I called the office the next day to complain about how rude this person was. I was in complete shock that a doctor would be freaking out at such a minor mistake and the amount of disrespect she has for her staff behind their back. I encourage all to not use this doctor, she has some major anger issues.

She will only deal with what she wants to handle. Wrote exceptionally rude notes regarding me & my care on my chart. Find any doctor but her....

Love her. She is thorough and listens to what I have to say. Tells it like it is and she is the kind of Dr. I was hoping for when I relocated.
