Dr. Sharon Ann Beckhard, MD

Dr. Beckhard has been great in helping me understand my symptoms and showing compassion for what I am going through. She spends ample time with me during visits and answers all questions. She has returned all phone calls in a timely manner. The one draw back is the time you may wait before being seen. I would recommend her to family & friends based on my experience.

We waited for first appt for the first 6 months. This doctor is very rude and condescending. My spouse was there for cognitive issues. My spouse looked at me because they couldn't answer the question she asked. I hesitated to answer because I knew she was doing an assessment. I felt bad and helped, she yelled at me. From that point forward, I shut my mouth for fear we would be thrown out with no diagnosis. We waited over 2 hours for the 2nd appt and she came up with no diagnosis when my spouse can not function properly. The patient before us told us they were waiting 3 hours past their appt time. Good luck! We are not returning.

Tried canceling due to weather and the doctor wouldn't let me.

Dr. Beckhard is a wonderful, caring specialist. She did such a comprehensive evaluation, asking me lots of questions and really listening to my symptoms. She took extra time to patiently explain everything in a way I could understand. Then she worked closely with me to find a treatment plan that has helped me finally get my life back!

Dr Beckhard was very difficult to work with. My son was very ill and she neglected to respond to phone calls, would not discuss adjusting the medication she prescribed, and release his records to other doctors or hospitals. She was very difficult to communicate with and did not like questions. Our experience was very bad.
