My pcp retired so I found Dr. Chaney on Google with very good reviews. My previous doctor was an MDVIP Doctor, and he was wonderful,...so I decided to become her patient.I became very sick,..out of the blue,.... and I didnt feel like I received the care that I needed.She seemed too busy to be thorough.With the extra money we pay to receive better ,more thorough care..through the MDVIP program I was disappointed. One of the best decisions I made upon moving to Birmingham, AL, was choosing Dr. Sharon Chaney as my primary care physician. Her entire office is staffed by friendly and professional personnel. Dr. Chaney provides the excellent medical care. She embodies the best the medical profession has to offer.

I finally found a competent doctor when I found Dr. Chaney. She has a pleasant personality and is sharp, clever, and swift. She listens and is patient. She focuses on you and you feel you are being heard and taken seriously. It is her desire to help you and will even discuss the course of treatment with you, wanting to find the right fit for YOU because one size doesn't fit all. I appreciate her and am grateful for her.

I have used Dr. Chaney for the past 4 years. She is punctual for appointments and is thorough on her exams. I think she is an outstanding physician.

I visited Dr. Chaney after I experienced swollen ankles & feet and pain for 2 months. She never examined me and ordered blood work and a battery of tests. She determined that I had mono and that was the diagnosis for the swelling. I was convinced that that wasn't the issue. VIsited her several times for follow up appointments. I asked for a referral to a rheumatologist and she would not give me the referral. I have since been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I do not recommend Dr. Chaney unless you have a cold.

Dr. Chaney is a true professional who is diligent and concise in her diagnosis; an excellent communicator; a skilled and knowledgeable physician but most of all a most caring individual. Assisting her is a fully trained group of courteous and efficient team members. Any patient should conduct careful research before choosing a primary care internist. I can personally attest that Dr. Chaney and staff offer the very best healthcare in the Birmingham area.

Dr. Chaney is terrific! She is very intelligent, and caring. Plus, she actually listens to her patients.
