Dr. Sharon Marie Christie, MD

Saw Dr. Christie about 20 years ago when she practiced in Enfield. Poor bedside manner with a touch of aloofness & arrogance. Avoid.

She Tried to make me feel guilty for even going there saying she was only there for people that have real concerns of cancer. She basically walked out of the room. I was stunned! Of course she charged my insurance!

I've seen Dr. Christie twice so far in the Middletown office. On both occasions, she was very friendly, competent, and professional in explaining my health issues, options, and prognosis. She treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. Nothing about the visit seemed rushed or uneasy. Her assistant was also very helpful and friendly. Both she and Dr. Christie helped me to feel at ease during my visits. My only complaint would be that it can take weeks or even months to get an appointment which can be disconcerting when some new skin condition arises and perhaps needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Still, 5 stars.

Waited 30 minutes and then sat in the room for 55 minutes while I listened to her flirting in the hallway with some guy. The girl that used to be there years ago was awesome but apparently moved to RI. After that the place became a toilet and she is circling the bowl.

I seen the dr at her office on 7 elm st, she was in a hurry and rushed me out the room, Telling me that she only has 15 min per patient. I dont think thats something you should share when you are charging my insurance

This is the only Doctor I know of that hands out religious flyers during an appointment. This entire practice runs on you having insurance or not and she seldom will talk to you about your condition. MONEY MONEY MONEY

Most memorable was Dr Christie's repeated refusal to call me about my medical concerns regarding procedure she performed and about to perform on me. This MD actually asked if my insurance will pay before she would hear about my medical concerns ! Her staff is unprofessional and only care about money! I would not recommend this MD to anyone. She cares about money NOT patients !
