Dr. Sharon Michelle Dowell, MD

Dr. Sharon Dowell is a board-certified rheumatologist who also practices internal medicine, bringing comprehensive care to patients with joint and muscle conditions. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies Barbados Faculty of Medical Sciences and completed her residency training at Howard University Hospital. With 26 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dowell has developed extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating complex rheumatic diseases. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing her to care for a diverse patient population.

Dr. Dowell practices at multiple locations throughout Jonesboro, Arkansas, and maintains affiliations with Howard University Hospital, Saint Bernards Medical Center, and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Her clinical focus includes treating joint pain, specialized care for back pain during pregnancy, and addressing back pain in children and teenagers.
