Dr. Sharon Linette Duval, MD

I saw Dr. Duval for the first time today and I was so impressed with her professionalism. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough with my exam and explained everything in detail. Very warm and compassionate. Thank you so much

She is a caring, loving, compassionate Doctor that I have even seen. I go to her for everything even a second review for her expertise because she has so much knowledge to share. The waits are longer but with any medical office visit for a good and caring Doctor takes time. Her staff is great I think it's Amber has me laughing in every visit!

I don't know how people says she listens to them, all she did was talk about herself, everything I said she had a comment about her daughter, herself or another patient, felt she was not listening at all, I had a upper GI and they told me to follow up with my GI Dr. , but they ordered the test, not a GI doctor, never called with the results and the wait time to see her is almost a hour, I guess I picked the wrong day to go but I am not going back to her

This woman is the most caring Dr. I have EVER met. She listens to me and addresses my complaint as well as my fears. Do I have to sit in the waiting room longer than I want to? Sometimes. But when my turn comes, I am treated like I am the only patient she has for the day. If I need 5 minutes or 25 minutes, she never rushes me. She takes the time to explain, and sometimes just comfort my fears. Dr. Duval is the kind of doctor that I have been searching for. The kind that cares about me like I was her family member. As for follow ups...in my experience, her staff has done well in this area.

She is the rudest MD I have ever met in my life. Condescending and does not follow up with anything she says she will. Will not be going back to her. Appalled she works as a professional in health care because by her mannerisms and attitude you would think she is fresh off the streets.

Does'nt follow up after tests.

I second the review of be prepared to wait more than an hour or two. Front reception is often distracted and at times don't even acknowledge the presence of a patient until they walk out. Dr. never has same day appointments nor returns calls; staff returns calls and end up forgetting why they called since they go back and forth with the information on signs and symptoms of condition between Dr. and reception which disregards to at least mute the phone so you won't hear them discussing the info. Unfortunately for me ended up an extra 2weeks with treatment because follow up was not done. On every appointment it seems the Dr. has the same medical issues and basically says that's normal. Hopefully your experience will be better...good luck.

Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours regularly, however she will spend the time you need with you. Unfortunately she takes quite a while to fill out forms or review test results.
