She is as cold as ice and stands firm on positions that are incorrect and unhelpful. My cholesterol was high, as it is for my whole family, and she suggested that I eat one egg yolk during breakfast. An in-network cardiologist and several other doctors I have seen recommended that this was a ludicrous suggestion and would clearly not solve any problem. When I challenged her on this and mentioned there were conflicting views, she doubled down and said "this is the view of DOCTORS." I get it, you don't want my input from Google, but this is a view from the medical community. The only good thing she has going for her is her nurse Mary, who is the absolute best. Not sure if she is still with her though.

Dr. Garland is the best doctor I have ever had. As a young professional who relocated to Jacksonville, to find a doctor who is kind and extremely knowledgeable is refreshing. She takes time to talk to me about any medical question or concern I have. She also makes time to fit me into her schedule on short notice. I could not ask for a better doctor. Additionally, her nurse Mary is amazing and always friendly. I would recommend Dr. Garland to anyone!!

I have been Dr. Garland's patient since 2016. She and her assistant Mary make a great team. It is easy to get an appointment when I need one and she is very patient and thorough during exams. I especially appreciate that she takes holistic consideration of other conditions I am treating with specialists, including work I am doing with a mental health counselor. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a new family doctor in Jacksonville.

She always runs on time and thoroughly explains everything. She doesn't write for unnecessary antibiotics or pills to "fix things", but actually helps me feel better and prevent illnesses. I have referred many of my friends and coworkers to see her and they all love her too.

I finally found a doctor that takes the time to explain everything fully and not use terminology I do not understand. She has a great bedside manner. I never worry about getting sick because I know I will be well taken care of. Her office staff is professional and courteous and always call me back the same day.
