Nothing special. Never really clicked as a patient and appts were very brief. A rule stickler. Never tried to dig deeper.

Dr. Koele is very proud of her credentials. But, she probably hasn't learned anything since the time she earned them, and times have changed - a lot. Just don't expect her to be up with the times regarding new information in the medical/psychiatric world.

Dr. Koele seemed to be a nice doctor but very inexperienced treating mood disorders and thepharmacology of mood disorders. Her line of questioning in attempts to get a clear back history was poor at past and her recommendations and/or suggestions went against some of the top specialists in this field. After waiting almost three months for an appointment with her I was very disappointed. All her support staff were great.

Dr. Koele truly listened to me in a way that no other doctor had in the past. She made me feel like my issues mattered and she was so kind in addressing my problems and helping me. She is a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Koele was the third psychiatrist I had tried about six years. The first one actually made me worse. With a few expert medication tweaks, Dr. Koele made me feel like life was worth living.
