Dr. Sharon Marie Laughlin, MD

We ended up leaving due to office staff. Really liked Dr. Laughlin but after several long wait times and office staff not calling us with results to the point we had to drive down there to get them, we left. Google search also provides a wrong number with an answering machine so hard to reach.

Dr. Laughlin is quite genuine and down-to-earth. She is very knowledgeable and has been appropriate concerned and compassionate about circumstances that impact not only my physical health but also my emotional health. Her medical opinion has been accurate pretty much every time, and confirmed by labwork or other procedures. She is also mindful of the insurance systems and works to get what I need while following the insurance protocols the first time, rather than having to redo things because the insurance has a different formulary or whatnot from others; keeping me in maintenance meds with samples until we can get the insurance part taken care of. I even went to a more expensive health plan to get her as a doctor again. If I could improve one thing....the effectiveness of the office staff. They are kind and do their work. They could delight me if they would be willing to go beyond the status quo to get things done. Unfortunately, I have had to prod and pester them multiple… times (over several weeks) in order to ensure that referrals or requests get processed. This last time, they kept claiming that the systems weren't showing things yet (because it is a new year). Well...we did referrals and things before systems; and while the staff was either incapable or unwilling of going beyond status quo, I ran out of maintenance meds. This has rather been frustrating.

I have had my health concerns for a while. After a long search, I made an appointment with Dr Laughlin. A couple of terrible things made me confused and bad recalls in her office.The 1st: Didn't I have the RIGHT to see the Dr who I expected? The answer was NO!Because the office sent someone who's available to deal with me only. I didn't know who was she. I asked the front desk workers,and called a hospital worker after my visit. Then I been told she is PA in that office.The 2nd, why you sent a PA to me instead a Dr? My concerns are still there BUT you didn't care because you already charged as the same fee as seeing Dr. Is it what you need/care about only?The 3rd, why the office/bill manage was so rude?! While I tried to explain to her that I didn't see who I wanted, I got nothing about my body concerns, and I need credit from the wrong assignment to me. She was very upset, and didn't let me say any BUT herself yelled and loudly repeated again and again about how the PA is good. Yes,… the PA is wonderful to me personally, however, I went there for an appointment with an experienced Dr ONLY. I don't have any time to waste! If I know someone also was ready to see me about my health concerns, I won't be there even you give me money back!I won't trust you anymore since you, the clinic manage was yelling,threatening,and almost fighting with me, because you ONLY care about money, and you really don't care client's feelings and needs.OK, you collected the money that you wanted, but I won't be trapped again from you!

I've been seeing Dr Laughlin for over 20 years and I pronise you there isn't a Dr who is more caring and efficient. She listens intently and has an almost sixth sense when diagnosing. Shis is caring, considerate, and hows this, she has a sense of humor and puts you completely at ease no matter what the problem. She's hands down the best Dr anywhere.

Dr. Laughlin is very caring and actually listens to her patients. It does often take a good waiting time before seeing her, but I've learned it's just part of why she's so good. She spends time with her patients. She is also an extremely smart person and doctor,

first couple times i had appointments i waited 2 hours . last appointment i waited 1 1/2 hours. nobody returns phone calls or calls in prescriptions on time. you have to keep calling for a week in order to get your meds. she prescribes wrong medications. i have had to go to another doctor to have her tell dr. laughlin what to prescribe me because she simply does not know what she is doing and doesn't care. i have had two make 3 appointments just to get on one medication because they don't return phone calls. i was having a severe reaction to medication prescribed with hallucinations, dizzyness, chills, etc. and she just told me to either make another appointment or see a counselor. what a horrible woman! i can't believe she is a doctor and treats her patients this way! stay far away from this one!
