Dr. Sharon Smith Meyer, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Meyer since 2010. She has performed in a professional caring manner. I would recommend her.

I am a new patient of Dr. Meyer's, who treated me two weeks ago for a rash on my tempo. I was extremely pleased with the service I received. I found her to be knowledgeable, informative, and approachable. Last Friday, late in the afternoon, the same type of rash suddenly appeared on my cheek. When I finally had a chance to call Dr. Meyer's office, it was after 5pm. The office was closed, but there was a message informing me that I could call Dr. Meyer in an emergency. The message contained her cell phone number. I called that number and Dr. Meyer answered the phone directly. She was driving home from work when I called. She took the time to listen to me, and to ask questions. I was in something of a panic because it was the weekend and I was really afraid that the rash would spread to my eye. Dr. Meyer took down my information and told me she would call in an RX order for me when she gets home. She did that, and texted me to keep me posted. I was able to start my prescription roughly… an hour after our phone call. The drug worked like a charm. The rash started to fade on Friday night, and by Saturday my face was clear. I checked with Dr. Meyer on Sunday morning and she texted me right back, answering more questions. This is the mark of a caring, generous, competent doctor. I am very grateful that I am under her care. I recommend her without the slightest reservation.

Spent no time explaining anything. Staff repeatedly cam into room to ask questions or give messages. Did not give any kind of a proper exam. Too busy to be bothered.

I went to Sharon Meyer (forget the doctor title) and had one of the worst medical experiences ever. She was RUDE, and treated me and my questions like they were completely unimportant. She even left the room to move on to her next patient before completing the removal of a skin tag which was one of the reasons I was there in the first place. I had to tell the nurse that she didn't do it and the nurse had to go find her. I posed a few questions about getting facials, which seemed to annoy her and her response was "I don't know, I mean if you want to get them you can". I was so upset I wanted to call my insurance company and tell them she didn't deserve a dime. NEVER AGAIN will I go to her, an if asked for a referral, my referral will be whoever you go to DON'T go to Sharon Meyer.

I like her because she seems like she knows what she is doing, however she is really cold and seems to just rush you along to get to the next patient. She is really lacking in personal skills with patients and makes you feel like just another dollar. Sometimes she also tries to push products on you which I dont like. Really easy to make appointment and very quick.
