Dr. Sharon Sonia Mitchell, MD

Dr Mitchel is an excellent physician. I have been going to her for 5 years , she is very thorough, and caring!

I was a relatively new patient to Dr. Mitchell. My first appointment went well; Dr. Mitchell was friendly and attentive. I was excited to have established care with a new physician after moving to the Fayetteville area. Upon leaving my first appointment, I scheduled another appointment for a full physical with the front office staff. I confirmed this second appointment several days prior. I arrived 10 minutes early and signed in. Several minutes later I was told that my appointment would have to be rescheduled due to time constraints and double booking. The next soonest available appointment was nearly 1.5 months later. I understand that mistakes happen but Dr. Mitchell and her office staff should have the courtesy to notify patients of scheduling changes prior to them arriving for their appointments. I feel that this office is either extremely disorganized or completely unconcerned about their patients. For this reason, I will not be returning as a patient and I would not recommend… this office to anyone.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Mitchell for years! She is knowledgeable, caring and takes the time necessary to explain our medical issues and follow ups. Thank you, Dr Mitchell, for taking such good care of us!

I am a new patient but I found Dr Mitchell to be very argumentative concerning my previous medical history, i.e. fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, hypertension. It was as if she didn't want to believe me or agree with the treatment I was currently under. I don't think I will be staying with Dr Mitchell but willing to see her one more time to make sure. Also I never asked her for anything and she acted like I would. Not a seeker here.

Dr. Mitchell is a very caring physician, skilled, and professional.

Have to wait over an hour and half to see. Does not return phone call.

Caring and friendly, may have to wait to see her, but she will give you the time you need.-professional-friendly-approachable-reviews labs and test with the patient-Occasionaly needs reminding about mediation orders.

Filed a complaint with the administration and was assigned a new doctor after they reviewed my file.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sharon Mitchell for over 10 years. In my personal opinion she is the best. She always has time to hear your needs and when I was in the hospital she came by to check on me on a regula basis. If you want a good old fashioned dr. that cares about your needs then she is the one for you.
