Dr. Sharon Alicia Norman, MD

Dr. Norman spent roughly five minutes with me although waiting in the office and then the exam room for over an hour. She was brief, cold and seemed too distant to even give weight to any of my concerns- I felt completely blown off. Her "salesman" attitude towards new pharmaceutical products makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable and leads me to believe that I, as a patient, am not the priority. The office is always a horrible wait and incredibly overcrowded. The staff is a hit or a miss-the front desk tends to be unwelcoming and make me feel like just a number. Dr. Normans nurse, Sherrie, however is so sweet and goes beyond her duties- she is probably the only reason I have continued my care at this practice.

Initially, I really liked Dr. Norman. She preformed a hysterectomy and was only taking my cervix, uterus and Fallopian tubes. She was leaving both ovaries since they were healthy. I have since gone to another doctor who preformed a diagnostic laparascopy and revealed that I only had one ovary. So, without my knowledge and pathology documentation, Dr. Norman removed my right ovary. Luckily for me, I still have my left ovary and therefore am not in surgical menopause at the age of 32!

Dr. Norman truly cares for her patients. She is passionate about her career. She takes the time to talk with you about your health and needs. I can't say enough about her. She delivered my two beautiful children and took great care of me thruout both of my complicated pregnancies.

From the minute I met Dr. Norman at our first appointment several years ago, I felt comfortable with her. She is laid back, genuine and professional, and she answers all my questions without making me feel rushed. Dr. Norman delivered my son a couple of years ago and was a source of comfort and calm both throughout the pregnancy and under the crazy circumstances the day he was born. Since then, she asks about him at every appointment, and I feel like we have a bond, having shared this special experience together. I'll never see another OB, unless she retires or moves away!

Dr. Norman recently delivered my first baby girl. This being my first child, I had no idea what to expect; however, she always made me feel at ease and was happy to answer as many questions as I had. She never made me feel rushed and she is always very sweet. My husband even commented about how much he really likes her. I would highly recommend Dr. Norman as an OB. I just wish I could use her as my primary care physician! :)

I adore Dr. Norman. She delivered my twins and daughter. She was quick to identify pre eclampsia with the twins and an issue during delivery. I would highly recommend her.

She robbed me of my life and gave me a Lupron injection that I never should have gotten. After my insurance denied payment she went behind my back and wrote to them telling them it was my last resort. I now suffer from multiple health issues from that shot to which there is no cure. She blew me off when I asked her about my health issues and even referred me to Pychiactric care--regardless that I brought documentation from neurologists among other doctors that the Lupron did it to me. She called me a liar...and yet I (among thousands of others) are still suffering. I found out that she has done this to several other patients as well all circling around this injection. She only poses as kind and compassionate.

Dr.Norman is awesome! She has wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel at ease. She will spend as much time as needed with you on any given visit. Her office staff needs a little bit of improvement...the receptionist isn't very friendly, the nurse Lisa is great, the nurse Sheree is nice but unprofessional, and the scheduler at the end of each appointment is very friendly. I enjoy seeing Dr.Norman at each visit...just wish I felt the same upon signing in and the initial part of the appointment.
