I trust Dr. Paley when she helps me make proper health choices. She is very professional, empathetic and prompt.

Her diagnosis is superb. It has taken 15 yrs with many doctors and therapists misdiagnose. Dr Paley correctly diagnosed me with type 2 bipolar.

Dr. Paley is a GIFT. In a crisis, I was assigned a doctor who mismanaged my care. After meeting Dr. Paley my life turned around in a minute. She asks questions and LISTENS to my reply. Based on this information, she is able to prescribe the RIGHT medication AND the right DOSE. BOTH of these are HIGHLY important. If you find her, you are blessed.

I've been seeing her for over 3 years. I have to agree with the other reviews here. As a woman I like being treated by a woman who will consider hormones and other issues while treating me. She is professional and seems she truly cares about her patients and enjoys her job, which are extremely important traits I seek in a doctor. She's always been open and honest, and no question s treated as stupid. She can be a little abrupt at times. I think her help got me through college where otherwise I was too scattered and unbalanced to complete anything, up until getting help from her. She is also very intelligent and up to date and knowledgeable on what she gives to patients.

Dr. Paley is an intelligent, thoughtful and incredibly capable practitioner. I consider myself fortunate to have benefited from her excellent care.

I saw another psychiatrist for over a year who only gave me 10-15 minutes out of my 30-min appointment, rarely even looked at me, and just increased my meds whenever my symptoms returned. He also refused to give me any refills, so I had to return every month. I gained almost 100 pounds on the medications he prescribed. Finally I was referred to Dr. Paley through a mutual professional contact. She spent 90 minutes with me in our initial session, even though it was only supposed to be an hour (but didn't charge me more). She suggested a new medication regiment that has been my lifeline, and on these meds I am now pretty much symptom free. I have also lost a lot of weight. Dr. Paley always gives me my full appointment time, and often spends a little more time with me (I'm usually the last appointment of the day). She is very personable and expresses interest in every facet of my life, providing fully holistic care. Unless there is a reason for additional follow-up, I only have to… see her every 3 months. She doesn't accept insurance, but she is very flexible with payment and always lets me pay her in installments if I'm pressed for cash. I recommend Dr. Paley to everyone I know who needs psychiatric services!

Dr. Paley demonstrates expertise in psychiatric assessment skills, diagnosing and developement of appropriate treatment plans. She is obviously extremely intelligent and demonstrates a wealth of clinical experience. She spent as much time as was needed with me and did not immediately jump to prescribing medication. Once we agreed on my starting medication she was careful to titrate until therapeutic dose was acheived. She maintains continuity of care with appropraitely timed follow up visits. Excellent doctor.
