Dr. Sharon T Pittenger, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Pittenger fr many years, she is kind, caring & very complete in her diagnosis.

Dr. Pittenger is a very good doctor with excellent bedside manner. She correctly diagnosed symptoms for me that other doctors couldn't explain. While the doctor is great, the staff at this practice are very unprofessional. To put it simply - their pride and ego override accountability for making a mistake in scheduling and canceling an appointment. I recently had scheduled a wellness check six weeks in advance of the appointment. The nurse incorrectly scheduled me, told me to fast when it was unnecessary, and to top it off - the front desk person called an incorrect number to cancel my appointment. Neither person on Dr. Pittenger's staff apologized for the inconvenience of losing half a day of work. The best part was that when the nurse rescheduled my appointment for the next day to try to make up for the error, I received attitude from both the front desk and the nurse during that appointment. I wouldn't recommend going to these doctors - save yourself the time and find someone else.… (I will because not only is the staff very rude and unprofessional, but Dr. Pittenger is only working 2 days per week, which makes it impossible to get an appointment.(

Dr. Sharon Pittenger is a wonderful Dr who has great patient communication skills. She is easy to talk to and she asks all the right questions.
