Dr. Sharon R. Rosenberg, MD

I did not get the care I needed including testing for ntm although I requested it. I was lazy, to comfortable at NMH but finally went to a real doctor at U if C who immediately ordered test which is positive. Do not put your lungs in the care if this "doctor".

Dr. Rosenberg was the first doctor I was ever able to pick for myself as an adult-- I allowed myself to go without a permanent GP since the age of 18. I had to pick someone quickly out of final desperation, and somehow I really lucked out. I was struggling with long-time depression and anxiety (as well as some physical issues) that I left untreated and clinically undiagnosed because I had never had a good doctor for my entire life-- all were either judgmental or, neglectful. Dr. Rosenberg is so incredibly kind and calming. She is a good listener and was the first doctor to really submit my bloodwork for full, thorough testing. She had an action plan the first day I stepped into her office. In my several follow up appointments she fully engaged with what I was telling her, how I was experiencing things and gave me options that made me feel comfortable. While I try to generally stay out of doctor's/ clinic offices, I will no longer be hesitant or worried to make an appointment with… her (should I need to) as my new permanent GP!

Dr Rosenberg has treated me for asthma for several years with a high level of competence. It is only after being treated so professionally by Dr Rosenberg that my severe asthma is now controlled. I am able to reach the doctor whenever I do need her in a asthma setback and regular appointments are easy to make as well. I highly recommend Dr Rosenberg.

Dr. Rosenberg is everything you want in a doctor. She's knowledgable, prompt, courteous, experienced, risible, bright and well connected. Her administrative assistant, however, is completely lacking in any communication skill, completely lacking in experience, and completely lacking in those helpful hints that guide a patient to standard procedures and best practices. Let's face it, COPD isn't an easy thing to navigate, but this doctor's assistant makes it harder with a lack of initiative, leverage and experience. Ask the assistant something general like "What's the best location to transport and drop off a patient in a wheelchair into the facility to avoid the cold?" Long pause. She has no freaking idea. "Is there a way to get this prescription renewed without a face to face visit?" Doesn't have a confident answer. Has no workaround methods. No tricks. No parking hints. No ingenuity. Has no procedural recommendations. Has no information about how most patients go about things… like getting medical equipment. Has no medicare tips. No COPD best practices. Won't call your primary physician to help arrange anything. Won't call you to remind you that your prescriptions are running out. It's like she's just filling in during her off hours at the Amazon packing facility. She has no spiel, no zeal, no energy, no referrals, no polish, no warmth, no insight, no zest for knowing, no vocabulary, no reference materials, no medical gossip, no helpful do's and don'ts, no traps to avoid, no reminders, or scheduling tips or preparedness plan ideas, or an awareness checklist for exacerbations. She doesn't go the extra mile to make sure you're maximizing your benefits under your insurance plan. By the end of a conversation you're not completely sure that the assistant isn't really just a barista from the downstairs commons.

Refused to see Ravi Kalhan again, so they referred me to the other quack Rosenberg that only wanted to talk about her colleague and not my health issues.

I went to see this doctor to get new ideas, new medications, new procedures, new referrals, new information for my lung disease that my local pulmonologist did not have. She spent about 20 minutes with me, total, as a new patient. Of the 20 minutes, she did a short 90 second exam with her stethoscope. The rest of the time she spent typing my history (work that my local doctors had done). I had a list of 11 questions I wanted to ask her. She gave me time to ask 2 of them. When she finished typing my history, she got up, opened the door, and stood next to the door frame, as I was trying to ask her 2 of the 11 questions from my list. I asked her what her thoughts were about my symptoms, treatment, what she is planning on doing, and her answer was "nothing". That she would write a letter to my local pulmonologist. When I asked her what she is planning on putting in the letter, being that she offered nothing as far as treatment ideas, or even what she thinks I have... I could tell… she was not expecting me to ask her what she is going to type in her letter! She literally had to think up some kind of verbage on the spot. She reminded me of being on the level of a third year medical student! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR UNLESS YOU HAVE THE MOST SIMPLE, MOST ELEMENTARY CONDITION. SHE KNEW SIGNIFICANTLY LESS ABOUT PULMONARY DISEASE THAN MY LOCAL PHYSICIAN, AND WAS TOO LAZY, AND HAD SO LITTLE INTEREST IN ME AS A PATIENT, AND LESS INTEREST IN MY LUNG DISEASE, SHE DIDN'T EVEN CALL AN ASSOCIATE FOR IDEAS OR INPUT, DIDN'T THINK TO REFER ME TO SOMEONE ELSE SINCE SHE WAS SO INCOMPETENT HERSELF. REMEMBER, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR, UNLESS YOU HAVE THE MOST SIMPLE, MOST ELEMENTARY, MOST EASY TO TREAT ASTHMA. SHE IS CLUELESS AND LOST IF YOU EVEN DEVELOP A COMPLICATION! A COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. MY OPINION IS THAT SHE IS A WEALTHY PRIVELAGED WOMAN WHO IS "DOCTORING" AS A SIDE HOBBY, NOTHING MORE. SHE IS NOT PASSIONATE ABOUT HER "HOBBY", i.e. HER JOB, HER PATIENTS AND THEIR DISEASE STATE. HOW DID SHE MANAGE TO GET THIS JOB, AND KEEP IT?
