Dr. Sharon Camille Sherling, MD

My 7 year old daughter and I were so excited to see Dr. Sherling because she was a holistic/conventional doctor and I previous holistic doctor retired. However, once we meet her, she had an a very nonchalant, uncaring, and unpleasant demeanor. It caught us off guard for a Pediatrician, She was very standoffish and hesitant about touching my daughter. When I asked her questions regarding my daughter and her practice she was very rude. The last straw was that she told us that she could not discuss any holistic treatment in person, that it must be virtual. I told her that what can of operation was she running that I specifically drove over 45 minutes to discuss holistic treatments for my child that was battling eczema. Nevertheless, my daughter will not ever go back to that facility because it was a true waste of time and effort. Dr. Sherling need to work with the deceased because they have the same personality.

I was a brand new patient in the practice and she didn't even introduce herself. She took all of 3 min to do my annual physical (not exaggerating, I checked the clock). She didn't even check the problem area I was also in for. Once I asked if that was it for my "physical exam" she looked at me blankly asking if I had questions. After I let her know that I was expecting her to actually give me a proper guidance as to what I can do to relieve the problem area and spend more than 3 min to give me a physical exam she replied with, "sorry, it's been a long day and I have patients with cancer." It was 11:30am and I'm sorry my physical exam is not as important as your cancer patients but that was just terrible.

Not good at all

I have read that Dr. Sherling does not have a friendly personality and looks at her laptop during the appointment. It is true that she comes off as a bit quiet and she does seem to be making notes in her laptop, but this did not bother me. I will update this after more appointments. One thing I really like is that it is easy to make appointments on line with this office. The medical assistant and phlebotomist were great.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sherling for over a year for two chronic medical conditions. I find her knowledgeable, a good listener, and very pleasant.
