Dr. Sharon Marie Smith-Thomas, MD

Dr. Sharon Smith-Thomas is amazing, she is caring and compassionate and has provided exceptional care. She listened to my concerns, did a thorough check up and developed a great care plan, which included a recent surgery she performed in order to resolve my issue. Her staff is great, including wonderful Kristina, Andrea and Mara. Great doctor and team.

I was a patient of Dr. Smith-Thomas upon our first consultation I expressed to her my symptoms that I have been suffering from for the past 6 years. Her response was awkward and insensitive. I also had the unfortunate experience of having to see her partner Dr. Xiao-Mei Zeng. Who also provided insensitive advice to my pain issues and for whatever reason felt it was okay to ask me if I wanted pain meds in the waiting room in front of everyone. Not all Doctors are created equal. These two women have no business talking down and voiding my symptoms. There are plenty of Doctors in the area who will listen and provide at least a minimum of basic bedside manner.

I am a new patient at the office of Dr. Sharon Smith-Thomas. It was the best gynecology visit I've ever had (and I've had many many). To begin with her office staff starting with Pat at the front desk was most welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I asked that my drivers license not be scanned into their system and Pat found a "work around." Andrea the medical assistant was lovely. What impressed me most is that I was ushered into Dr. Smith-Thomas's office prior to the exam. How wonder it was to talk with the doctor about general and specific health concerns, BEFORE, the exam room. The PAP smear was the most comfortable I've ever had. She was gentle and used the correct size speculum (who knew they come in sizes). Overall, a great visit. I have to thank my friend for recommending.

NOT TOO MANY DR'S REACH THIS LEVEL OF COMPASSION. SHE IS SUPER SWEET, ALWAYS HAPPY, ALWAYS INFORMATIVE. SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE FOUND HER, NEVER GOING ANY WHERE ELSE!

I’ve been to so many doctors and I’m extremely careful with who I choose. I read reviews before I choose one and I have very high expectations and standards when it comes to who I’m paying for my healthcare. With that being said, Dr. Smith-Thomas is by far the best gynocologist I have ever gone to. EXTREMELY thorough. She brought me into her office before she even brought me to the exam room. Answered all my questions, explained everything in detail and options of solutions to issues I was having. She didn’t let me leave that room until I was completely finished with my questions and understood everything. The exam took LITERALLY 1 minute. She walked me through everything she was doing and it was done before I could even get a sentence out. Very gentle but swift. Made sure I had all the prescriptions I needed and even gave me tons of info on HPV shots and etc. walked me out and let the staff know I was in a hurry and they got me out very quickly. No standing around or dealing with… attitude from staff! Extremely friendly staff, quick and efficient. The nurse taking my Vitals even asked me about my day, imagine that! Hands down the best team I’ve come across in south Florida so far. I will not be going to any other gyno for as long as I’m in the area!!! HIGHLY recommend. Excellent experience.

I've been a patient of Dr. Smith-Thomas for many years and she is the most professional, caring doctor I have come across. She genuinely cares about her patients. She truly listens and makes recommendations and makes you feel like family. Currently, I am going thru a health issue and I cannot thank her enough for her genuine care and guidance she has provided me.
