Education
Dr. Sharon Soria is a board certified pediatric dentist. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from C.U.N.Y. HUnter College in 2000 and graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2004. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
Personal/Experience
Dr. Soria was born and raised in Ecuador, South America. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of 12 years old and lived in Queens, New York until she finished college. She has resided in Connecticut for the past 9 years, subsequently joining Pediatric Dental Associates in 2006. She enjoys spending her time with her husband Mario, her family and friends. She is fluent in spanish and enjoys traveling, reading and dancing.
Dr. Soria is currently associated with the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the …Connecticut State Pediatric Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Soria has served as a volunteer for the University of Connecticut Dental Campaign to Peru, where she provided dental care and education to rural villages of the Peruvian Amazon.
In 2009, her colleagues in dentistry also named her as one of the top pediatric dentists in Connecticut as reported in Connecticut Magazine.
