Dr. Sharon Arnaud Stokes, MD

My primary doctor referred me to Dr stokes for cancer on my leg 10 years ago. She was wonderful, caring, very professional. We have seen har and her PA Mark every 6 months since. Excellent care from everyone. Some people complain just to complain. I want my forms complete so my doctor can make the best diagnosis possible.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Stokes and have been for nearly 15 years. We have found her and her staff to be excellent in performance and diagnosis. We have never been treated with anything but respect and patience. After reading some negative reviews, we realize that there are some people in this world who have expectations that are unrealistic and difficult to fulfill. We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Stokes and her staff.

Get ready to be treated poorly. They will make you fill out the usual paperwork, but if you leave one box unchecked they will yell at and berate you. Then, you will not see a doctor. You will see an assistant (but your insurance will be charged for a full blown doctor visit). These assistants have very highly opinions of themselves and act as a godlike doctor. Overall a bad, depressing experience. Go elsewhere.

DIFFICULT GETTING APPOINTMENT WITH DR. STOKES, THE MAJORITY OF TIMES YOU HAVE TO BE SEEN BY A PA. ON MY LAST VISITS MEDICATIONS HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED, BUT THEY DO NOT WORK I GIVE UP. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 73 DAYS.

I have not seen the doctor in the 2 years that I have ben with the practice. Dr is extremely allergic to fragrance so, do not come in at all if you have anything that comes close to smelling good. You will not see her!

She is very cold and somehow insensitive. Seems to be aloof And disconnected. The time spent with patients is rushed and Not personal. She is always running behind schedule and never apologizes for it! Kind of arrogant!

I cannot express how happy I am with this office! All of the staff of professional, friendly and informative. Most importantly, I have not have an extended waiting time to see a specialist. I want to thank Mark Winstead, PA-C, for being so personable and helpful as well for my condition! Great PA! Don't let me forget, a medication that cost $500.00 without insurance, $100.00 with insurance, cost me $0.00 because they gave me a discount card provided by the pharmaceutical company! Thanks guys!

I have been a patient of Dr. Stokes for over 15 years. I may not like the wait time in the office but she has performed numerous surgeries on my face and body. She is a brilliant doctor with a steady hand. I have moved out of the area and I still travel several hours in to see her. Her staff is kind and efficient and I would highly recommend her.

I made an appointment to see her based on some of the reviews I read here. I am sorry that I went. The waiting room was mobbed with people. No place to sit. The receptionist told me it is always like that! Then I saw why. It is one big assembly line!! Rush you in. Diagnose quick. Did not even receive a full body check for possible problems. Just those you could see with all clothes on. I did not even see HER. I saw her assistant.I had a basal cell carcinoma (I was told)and I ordered chemotherapy cream (the cream was over $600 here in U.S), I found it online for $85. They have NEVER followed up with me to see how the cream worked. I will never go to this office again! They are only in it for the money!

Dr Stokes is very good. We have been seeing here for almost 4 years now. But this last 1-2 years have been painful an d getting worse. The on line apopintment system does not work- you won't here back from anyone. Making an appointment is a chore, she either isn't there or isn't available for months and they won'd let you make an appointment with the other Dr in the practice
