Dr. Sharon Ziegler

Dr Z is a first rate primary care doctor. She’s compassionate as well as current in her knowledge and skills. I never mind the wait because I know that she’s patient centered and genuinely cares about all of her patients. She’s a really wonderful doctor and my two physician daughters agree,

Dr. Z is a real human! She listens, responds and cares! plus of course she knows her stuff. If you don't like the wait for her go to some robot doctor instead. She is worth it.

She is a real person with degrees in emotion and physical health. Spends all the time you need. She is rare!

Dr. Ziegler has been my doc for many years, she listens to my concerns. My husband an I enjoy our appts with her.

There are very few drs in ithaca that are good. Dr Zeigler is definitely one of them. She actually listens to your concerns and then does something about them. I feel extremely lucky to have found such an amazing dr in a town of so very very few.

I think Dr. Sharon Ziegler is an interesting, caring physician who knows her stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to my friends and family, and that goes for the office and the staff, too.

My partner liked her, so I went to her. She seems to know average stuff - nothing outstanding though.The reason I will never go back or recommend her...When I mentioned my partner had just seen her (both time for both of us), she puffed out her cheeks and held her arms far away from her body. Yes, my partner is overweight, but some of the extra weight was due to very recent treatment for cancer. Dr. Zeigler knew this. Her lack of professionalism was incredible. I would never recommend her to anyone. In fact, even if I need to see someone in the practice quickly, I refuse to see her.

Despite hearing bad reviews from a coworker, I decided to give her a shot anyway. I wish I hadn't.I found her to be distracted during the appointment. For example, she asked what political party I belonged to and proceeded to rant and give her opinions instead of asking me about why I was seeing her. She basically asked me what medications I wanted instead of giving me advice or suggestions. I'm not a doctor; how am I supposed to know which medication is going to work for me?The most upsetting was the errors in my chart. I'm supposed to trust my life in the hands of someone who puts into my chart a false record of major surgeries?I'm past disappointed, I'm angry.
