Dr. Sharvari Neelesh Rangnekar

I have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr. Rangnekar listens, and gives advise and reason why she supports that reason. Excellent Doctor!

This "doctor" couldn't care less about her patients.She is a poor listener and thus cannot or will not help you with your diabetes.

After reading some bad reviews I was concerned. I saw Dr. Rangnekar this morning and was very pleased with her and her staff. Everyone was pleasant and greeted me. I didn't wait but a few minutes. She came in and was pleasant and went over my health history and my current issues. Gave me all my options and explained everything thoroughly and answered my questions completely.

After reading a few negative reviews I was concerned about my upcoming visit. Wow, was I happily surprised! The appointment lady spent a good deal of time explaining the directions to the office. I appreciated the help and arrived without difficulty. I was immediately greeted by the staff behind the desk and called back to the doctor's office . Joel ,the nurse, was very nice and pleasant and took my history and vital signs. Then Dr. Rangnekar entered and greeted me. She asked many questions and took her time looking at my history and test results. She explained everything and and patiently answered my questions. I was very appreciative of her time (spent almost an hour with me) , professionalism, and expertise. The lab technician expertly drew my blood. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr.Rangnekar. People are more likely to write a negative report, so I thought my positive review should be written.

She was very nice, and helpful. The staff was wonderful and equally helpful. I called at 9 after calling other doctors and was able to get an appointment with her, and I'm glad I did. I have had these symptoms, and no one has been able to help me until I went to urgent care. The diagnosed me and referred me. She was quick to get to the room. I loved her and the staff, and I look forward to working with them.

I was very disappointed after my one and only visit with this so called doctor. To begin, my blood sugar dropped in her office. Her medical assistant gave me glucose but she never addressed the issue after. She did not introduce herself upon entering the room. I have been a nurse for 17 years and it is common courtesy to let people know who is caring for them. She then gave me a physiology class on diabetes. Then told me to read the first South Beach Diet book and "google" glycemic index. What doctor tells their patients to Google? She should've had this information available to the patient or explained it herself. She was pitiful!

she took almost an hour to come in after I was in the exam room. She had a nasty attitude and implied I was a liar and made light of my abnormal blood work. She did not help me at all and was a complete waste of my time and money! Will never ever go back to her again and would not recommend her to anyone. She would not even RX me vitamin D after testing low for a long time. She argued with me on every thing I said and every concern I had. Left empty handed and broke and busted and disgusted!

I've been going to Dr. Rangnekar for about 7 years and have been extremely pleased with her care.

Dr. Rangnekar is a very nice doctor who is, nevertheless, misinformed about certain issues concerning thyroid function. She treats the TSH only and ignores lingering hypo symptoms. Apparently most Endos have bought the lie from the pharmaceutical companies (think Synthroid!) that dessicated thyroid is unsafe, unreliable, or old hat. So don't even think she'll discuss using Armour or Naturethroid. But certain individuals like myself don't do well on synthetic thyroid medication and I tanked after a couple years because as I've researched and talked to other doctors, some of our bodies don't do a great job of converting T4 to the more active form of T3, desperately needed for brain, mood, and energy. While this is typical attitude of almost ALL endocrinologists, if you're still hypo when the TSH is normal range, you'll need another doctor because Dr. Rangnekar will not address the symptoms and refer you to another specialist for whatever else is bothering you (even if it's HYPO… symptoms). When I was depressed on Levoxyl, she suggested a shrink. Pul-lease. After I found a doctor to prescribe dessicated, my depression lifted as well as all my muscle pain and brain fog. Much more I could say but if you're diabetic, maybe she's good with that. But subclinical hypothyroidism or being thyroid-less - not so much. If you continue to feel like crap on Synthroid, there are myriad of reasons for that. But she will just keep reducing your amount to make sure the TSH is normal. Do yourself a favor and read up on your condition (Hypothyroidism II: The Epidemic by Mark Starr, MD; Stop the Thyroid Madness, Janie Bowthorpe) and find a good integrative practitioner to help you get regulated and run the RIGHT thyroid tests which should always include the FT3 & FT4 along with TSH. Rangnekar will balk at that, but I won't be seeing her again:-)

Dr. Rangekar is a very skilled, highly knowleageble Dr. I like her straight forward, no nonse approach. While a caring physician- she will not hesitate to give you an honest opinion, particularly if you must modify behavior for better results. The practice staff, while very busy, do not hesitate to help.overall, a very high end practice andI like the lady Dr. very much.
