This man helped me so much. I was a struggling teenager dealing with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, add, and substance abuse. Initially my treatment wasn’t getting anywhere. But after I suggested being screened for ADD and diagnosed my life changed. I was finally put on proper medication. This was years ago (2017 maybe?) But I still remember him. He taught me once an addict always an addict. Thank you.

Do NOT let your child near this man. This sad excuse for a "psychiatrist" should be locked in a box forever. He is not worthy of being in the mental health field. I'm not the only one who felt this way in 8100. This was 4 years ago, but it's a nightmare I'll never forget. And I'm sure his practice hasn't changed. This man misdiagnosed me with Bipolar Disorder. All of us humans have a brain that is structured a bit differently from one another. Just because we think or feel a certain way doesn't mean we should be labeled something and be drowned in medications. It can really screw a person up. We've all been an emotional teenager at some point, with a lot to learn and realize. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have been there. Mental hospitals do not teach you about other factors in the world that can cause depression and such, like how preservatives can effect your mentality and general health. 8100 threw pills at me left and right. He prescribed me Lithium, a very dangerous… medication that made me gain weight and possibly threw me off the deep end even further. He kept upping my dosage. Upping my dosage. People need to be aware of the natural healing world. Did you know St. John's Wort is more effective than Prozac for depression? Yeah, I was thrown some Prozac too in the mean time. I am now off all medications and as happy as can be using my own mind to cope through. Not blocking out my metality. Anyway, he made my experience there a million times worse. He tells you how you feel. He also told me the first day I met him that they found amphetamines in my system and asked me why I use drugs as such, when I know for a FACT I've never touched anything of the sort. Come to find he was looking at the wrong file. Imagine that. I proceeded to be at rage, considering the situation I was already in. Another day, the staff members asked me to undress my wrist wounds/sutures to let them breathe for a day. He then told me that I am proud of what I have done and I am wearing my wounds out in the open like a medal. Like I was happy about what I'd done. I, and the others who shared this maddening doctor will never forgive him for the awful experience he created for us in 8100. Why is this man dealing with mental health patients? Let alone adolescents. This is NOT THE RIGHT PROFESSION FOR HIM. He made it a nightmare and a half for me there. He asks the most inane questions and never lets you express yourself without you being wrong. He'd just roll his eyes at you when you'd disagree with him. These people don't tell you what's real. Same old routine for these poor kids. There's other things we need to be aware of in this world.

This doctor wasn't sure what he was doing at all, he made it much more difficult to recover in any way shape or form, he thought in such an abstract way, his views were the way you should feel about life, his understanding ability for Suicidal Ideation and things alike it are extremely poor, causing me to come up with the conclusion, that he must be either removed from his positioning or having a surprise check up on how terrible his abilities are and then removed of all his duties.

This doctor is from India, and has a very strange view

Some of these parts I could not answer because I did not schedule an appointment. He was my doctor/psychiatrist while in 8100 (psychiatric ward) at Akron Children's. He was nice and friendly. He didn't pressure you or make you feel bad and belittle what was going on, like some psychiatrists I have had. I felt he genuinely cared. He didn't rush through what we had to talk about when I met him, he took his time and made sure I understood. I had some questions and thought that I might of had this one diagnosis since I was 13, none of the psychiatrists I saw before said I had it, but I had alot of the symptoms. I saw some of them for months, but he understood and figured it out after a meeting and talking to some people. I had friends there and the ones that had him liked him too. After we met for our appointment he checked in on me 2 maybe 3 times and had a meeting with me and my parents in the remaining days. He gave me great advice. And I thank him, greatly.
