Dr. Shaukat Jahan, MD

I phoned Dr. Jahan a few weeks ago to get an ultrasound scan. She told me she does ultrasounds so I came in on the day of my appointment & I paid before taking the ultrasound, because that's how she says her office works. After I got in she told me her ultrasound machine is old & she doesn't do ultrasounds, she lied to me on the phone. This lady should not even be a doctor because she took 145$ from me for no reason, just for the visit, she sucks at what she does and she has no morals. I do not reccomend this lady to ANYONE!

I did not have hoid experience i waited too lo g and she was not in the iffice she was. 2 hour late

Worst Doc ever. Wait time is obnoxious. Very first visit she told my wife that you has a tumor and after that she stopped talking about it even though we asked her repeatedly. Her attitude is very bad treating her staff like her slaves and even at times she will be rude with her patients as well. We changed her to a different doc and were very pleased and satisfied. Please stay away from her if you get a midwife of a good doctor she might be better than DR. JAHAN.

hello everyone I took my wife to this doctor and it was our first time, we were the last patient and after we were called in, we were sitting in the room at least for 15 minute so my wife thought it might be longer so she decided to use the restroom and as she left for the restroom the doctor come and she asked me where is your wife I kindly told her that she went to use the restroom and that's when she got mad and told me WHY DID SHE GO TO RESTROOM DIDN'T SHE KNEW THAT SHE WAS COMING TO SEE A DOCTOR I was like excuse me, she had to use the restroom, and that's when she keep talking to me like I was a 2 years old kid infron't of my wife and her nurses, she embarrassed me. over all I don't recommend anyone to this doctor.............

I went to Dr. Jahan even after reading one bad review. I told myselft that this may just be one scorned patient. Boy was I wrong!The nurses are ok, the waiting is long, sometimes you will be sitting there and the doctor herself isn't even in! This was my third visit and I quit! Dr. Jahan is a terrible doctor. She is extremely rude and condesenting to her patients. For a female Dr. she is very rough ( ladies know what I mean ) and very unappologetic. She just ruffed me up for not having my baby with them and opted for a birth center! Reader beware, you will regret choosing this evil woman as your doctor, DON'T GO THERE!!!!!

I had a bad overall experience with dr. Shaukat, the office staff was very rude, uncooperative and ignoring the patients, the doctor her self is very distant, doesn't take the time to explain things to the patient, hated the whole thing. I already changed my doctor after only two visits to dr. Jahan.

I came home crying from my appointment today it was so bad. The doctor is rude and uncaring, doesn't explain procedures, yells at the patients and talks badly about other patients right in front of you, while she's performing a procedure! Her staff is terrified of her. She lost my test results and doesn't care to look for them, and it took 3 attempts from another doctor to get her to fax the results she could find. You would think a potential cancer patient might get a little respect. But not here. She just jams her instruments in you and treats you like a thing, not a human. I'm switching doctors immediately.

Stop fighting with ur nurse and u make patients wait for hours...even having an appointment we have to wait more hours for u ...it's better to change yourself because you made me very dissapointment last visit and my friend also had a very bad experience with you .

It was my first time going there and i got treated like it was a follow up.The wait was rediculous before i could actually see her. she spent about 6mins with me and than walked out. Staff was nice but it doesn't make up for her i wasn't expecting her to be my best friend but she could've acted like she cared for the well being of my fetus and my self. I didn't even get a ultrasound to see how the baby was doing. I will not be following up.

I am receiving prenatal care at Dr. Jahan's Fairfax office. I am on time for my appointments and have waited as long as 1 hour and 15 minutes to see the Doctor. When I'm finally in, the Doctor spends her time asking me questions about information that is already on my file. The worst part is having to witness her ignore me (the patient) to argue with her apparently incompetent staff. (At least according to the Dr.) I waited 56 minutes to see the Doctor during my last visit only to have her say hi to me and then proceed to argue with her Nurse about why my results were not in my file. That was the reason for my visit-obtaining my results. The Doctor then measured my belly and that was it. On my way out I get to listen to the rest of her staff pointing fingers at each other, while I stand patiently waiting to schedule my next appointment.Overall, the service is poor, the wait disrespectful of patient's time, and the Doctor's time with patient is spent humiliating the staff in… front of patient which is extremely uncomfortable.The environment is unprofessional, disorganized and back-stabbing. I cannot wait to change my health insurance so I can change OB GYN. If you can, AVOID AT ALL COST. Anyone else will be better.
