Shawn comes to Samaritan Athletic Medicine from Tucson, Arizona. He completed a sports residency at the University of Florida, where he was directly involved in the rehabilitation of multiple Division I collegiate athletes across multiple sports including football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, track and field, and volleyball. In addition to adequate strength and conditioning, Shawn understands that sound biomechanics and movement patterns are necessary to reduce pain and injury risk and enhance performance. He enjoys working closely with patients and other fitness and health professionals to ensure the best possible outcome and a safe return to sport following injury. Shawn is a former Division I collegiate athlete, running cross-county and track for the University of Arizona. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, weight training, rock climbing and spending time with his family and dog.
