Dr. Shawn Kenneth Conner, MD

Dr. Conner has been my PCP for about 15 years now. He is ver efficient. I have NEVER had to wait more than 3o minutes. His manner is brisk, but friendly. He doesn't waste time; he gets straight to it. However, if I have concerns, he always takes the time needed to listen and and answer my questions. I highly recommend him, although I can see where some people might feel rushed or put off by his brisk manner. I have found that you just have to be straight forward with him, and don't be afraid to speak up and ask questions. I must also mention his staff: his nurse Donna and his receptionist Beth. They have also been there for as long as I have been a patient of Dr. Conner. They are both wonderful ladies; warm, friendly, and efficient. So 5 STARS for Dr. Conner and staff! I think they are top notch!

Dr. Conner is the BEST. I have been seeing Dr. Conner since he opened his practice in Clarkston which has been a long time. I can get a appointment the same day, I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and never more than 3 minutes in the exam room. He has always taken the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions that I may have. He has always gone above and beyond to help me. He does not push Medications either and I love that. He is all about fixing the problem and not masking it with drugs. When I have had the need to see a specialist, he has always sent me to wonderful doctors as himself and I have always been pleased. I have recommended him to many people and they all tell me that they love him. He is the BEST family doctor I have ever seen. I can not say enough about him and his knowledge of treating patients. Donna, his nurse is amazing also. She calls you right away with your results and answers any questions you may have. And then there is… Beth the receptionist. She is also wonderful and always treats you with kindness. I would rate the entire practice on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10+. I will never see another doctor.

My family first saw Dr. Conner when he first started his practice, before Clarkston. When he left for Clarkston, we got another Doctor. After a year or so, we decided to make the 45 minute drive to Clarkston because we liked him (Donna who went with him) and have been with him ever since. He is a family practicianer, not a specialist and knows what he knows, and knows when to send a patient to a specialist. I will keep using Dr. Conner until I am too old to drive that far.

This summer, I had major issues with both of my children. Each time Dr. Conner went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that not only were they cared for, but that my emotional needs were met as well. He took the time to talk to me. That's all I needed, no meds, no tests, no treatment..just someone to talk to and share my frustrations and he was there for that. That showed a level of caring that I rarely see in physicians and I used to be in the medical field.

I have been going to Dr. Conner for years, and I would recommend him to anyone. He has the greatest bedside manner I have ever seen, and in an age of rushed medical care, he takes the time to listen to you. Even though I moved 45 minutes away several years ago, I still make the drive to see Dr. Conner.

It is easy to get an appointment with Dr. Conner. When you go to see him, you are always seen promptly - I've never had to wait even five minutes that I can remember.Dr. Conner is very knowledgeable and gets the diagnosis right. Other specialists also speak highly of him.
